All medical staff must be professional always. Avoid personal and emotional fondness as not to cloud the decision making. Then again, if dealing with lives, it can be confounding not be affected when someone dies. Yes, people are emotional beings. Nonetheless, it is the duty of the medical staff to stay professional and composed.

Beating The Ego
The roles of medical assistants are encompassing that there are times they are mistaken as nurses. They are faced with the difficulty of explaining to others their roles particularly those that are not certified. They have to flawlessly and patiently stretch the fact that they are not nurses. This is sometimes a very complex situation to be into.

Under Pressure
The hospital is a very variable work environment. There are instances wherein the volume of patients are just average and there are times wherein it is so overpowering. When there are so many patients to cater to, medical assistants ought to stay in focus. They do not let the situation devour them or else they will not be able to carryout their job well.
